Reports & Data

Understanding how the business is doing, and getting your data out.

Reports and analytics

Reports show you how the business is actually doing — revenue, popular services, busiest times and which customers come back. A booking counts for everything sold on it: the service, plus extras and products, less any discount. Customer credit and gift cards are not deducted because they are ways of paying rather than discounts. They are available to admins on a paid plan.

Reading your analytics

Analytics shows the shape of the business rather than answering a specific question. Set the period first — Today, This Week, This Month, This Year or a custom range — because everything follows it. Popular Services is the most actionable panel: it tells you what people actually come to you for. Revenue counts only bookings marked complete.

Exporting your data

Settings then Backups and Exports downloads a copy of your practice data as CSV files in a zip. You choose what to include — customers, animals, bookings, sales, products, staff, services. The export is queued and built in the background rather than produced instantly. The file contains customer contact details in plain readable form, so look after it once downloaded.

System logs

Settings then System Logs is the audit trail of what was done in your account, by whom and when. Filter by user, by action, by IP address, or by a specific client, animal or booking ID — that last one is the useful one when a record changed and nobody remembers doing it. It records that something happened, not what the old value was.
